外国人入境中国办理工作签证、商务签证等的几种方式

From January 8,2023, China restarted its visa-free policy. You can travel to Chinawithout applying a new visa if you qualify for visa-free transitpolicy.

从2023年1月8日起，中国重启了免签证政策。如果您有资格享受免签证过境政策，您可以在不申请新签证的情况下前往中国。

Or you can alsoapply a new visa to China. Now the types of visas you can apply forinclude Z visa, M visa, Q visa, S visa, X visa, etc.

或者你也可以申请新的中国签证。现在，您可以申请的签证类型包括Z签证、M签证、Q签证、S签证、X签证等。

1). Visa-Free Policy

Now tourist visa isstill not available to enter China. But China now restarted itsvisa-free policy. If you meet the conditions, you can travel to Chinawithout applying a new visa.

现在，旅游签证仍然无法进入中国。但中国现在重新启动了免签证政策。如果你符合条件，你可以在不申请新签证的情况下前往中国。

The requirements of144-hour visa-free policy:

144小时免签证政策的要求：

Passportholders from the 53 countries including USA, Canada, UK, Australia,France, Germany, Singapore, etc.

来自美国、加拿大、英国、澳大利亚、法国、德国、新加坡等53个国家的护照持有人。

You must be intransit to a third country or region (Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwanare included). For example, USA–Beijing–Hong Kong is anacceptable itinerary for a 144-hour transit policy, butUSA–Beijing–USA is not.

您必须在前往第三国或地区的途中（包括香港、澳门和台湾）。例如，对于144小时过境政策，美国-北京-香港是可以接受的行程，但美国-北京–美国不是。

You need a visafor the third country/region (if needed).

你需要第三个国家/地区的签证（如果需要）。

You must staywithin the permitted region and not travel out of it at all. Forexample, you can stay around Shanghai region like Shanghai,Hangzhou, and Suzhou, but you cannot make a trip from Shanghai toBeijing.

你必须呆在允许的区域内，不能离开。例如，你可以在上海、杭州和苏州等上海地区逗留，但不能从上海到北京。

Note: Foreignersentering China with Z visa are not allowed to work (wage payment anddeclaration are not allowed) until they finally obtain work permitand residence permit. Otherwise, it will be judged as illegal workand cause visa refusal.

注意：外国人持Z签证入境，在最终获得工作许可证和居留许可两个证件之前，外国人是不允许工作的（不能进行工资发放和申报）。否则会被判定为非法工作而造成拒签。

3). For FamilyReunion (S or Q Visa)

1.If a foreignerapplies for a business M visa to enter China, the purpose of theforeigner's application to the Chinese Consulate must be business. Toparticipate in work, he/she must enter China and then sign a laborrelationship with a Shanghai company to convert into a work visa.

1.如果外国人申请商务M签证入境，那外国人去中国领事馆申请来华的目的必须是商务，参加工作必须入境后再和上海公司签订劳动关系转成工作签证。

Method two: by APECcards

If you hold a validAPEC business travel card, you can enter China with the card directlywithout applying a new visa.

如果您持有有效的APEC商务旅行卡，您可以直接凭该卡进入中国，而无需申请新签证。

If your APECbusiness travel card is issued by the United States or Canada, youstill need to apply a new visa.

如果你的APEC商务旅行卡是由美国或加拿大签发的，你仍然需要申请新的签证。

5). For Study (XVisa)

To apply for a Xvisa, you will need:

Visa Application for Study inChina (only for X1 visas) + Admission notice (original andphotocopy)

If you hold avalid student residence permit, you can enter China withoutapplying a new visa.
